60 participants of 8 different drinking water from Veneto came together in Treviso on 23rd May to discuss the value of data driven asset management. Non-revenue-water is an hot topic in Italy, and asset management is not only one of the four accepted ways tor educe non-revenue-water, it can be the umbrella for a water company to optimise the total performance of the company at a desired cost level.
The meeting was organised by Spatial Insight, local utility Alto Trevigiano Servizi and Viveracqua, the association of Venetian water companies. We were grateful that the city of Treviso has contributed to the meeting by arranging Museo Bailo as the venue for the meeting.
We are pleased to move forward with the participating experts and work on the implementation of prediction based asset management and by leveraging the available asset and failure data.
