Diameters

SI-Blueprint calculates the optimal diameter for each pipe in the existing water distribution network. Fully automated. Experts appreciate this, especially since the data preparation is fully automated and the subsequent steps in the algorithm are executed in a robust way. SI-Blueprint will find the smallest possible diameter for pipes complying with the conditions set by the water utility, eg. below a maximum pressure drop and with sufficient flow to hydrants. Different scenarios -eg. by adding demand points or a new or removed pipe- can be calculated and compared.

White box

Since SI-Blueprint is a white-box model, so for each pipe it’s clear why a specific diameter has been calculated. This helps to decide upon alternative solutions in case a specific situation requires attention.
