Anyone who performs large calculations knows that the most time-consuming part is data preparation. And it’s no different at Spatial Insight. For example, to conduct our probability and risk calculations with SI-Cluster, SI-Regression, and SI-Rehab, it is therefore useful to be able to load and verify data quickly.
In recent years, we have been working on Dataloader, which allows us to quickly ‘map’ -link- any data source with our standard data model (SDM). All software from Spatial Insight is designed to run smoothly if the data is prepared according to the SDM structure.
The first version of the Dataloader has now been tested with data from three Dutch drinking water companies. When linking the different tables, it is immediately calculated how complete the data is that is being linked, and it is shown on a map which data has been found.
Dataloader works and is ready to be further developed and then put into production. With this powerful interface, the barrier to using Spatial Insight’s software is significantly lowered, making it easier for our customers to optimize the quality and availability of source data.
