SynergieNL is the online coordination platform for underground activities. Stakeholders from water companies, energy network operators, and municipalities have been uploading their intended activities for years before their coordination meetings take place. It also records agreements on how to collaborate.
Coordination is shifting from a tactical to a strategic level, moving from the street level to the neighborhood level. New functionality is being developed in SynergieNL for this purpose. The major network operator we are collaborating with has made preliminary deployment plans by neighborhood and conducted an analysis to determine where substations should be placed and which electrical cables need to be reinforced.
SynergieNL will no longer only facilitate coordination at the project level but also enable strategic decision-making at the neighborhood and provincial levels. The tool and data are ready, and we are closely monitoring how the involved parties are structuring their strategic coordination processes, ensuring that SynergieNL aligns with them.
